Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Vehicle Services- Automotive for Team Car Care will report to the VP of Vehicle Services and assist in developing and implementing all vehicle service-related products and processes to support Team Car Car's mission, values, and strategic plan. This individual must possess a strong foundation in facilitation, communications, and organization. He or she is responsible for all vehicle service implementations, while assisting in creating the future strategy for continued vehicle services growth for TCC.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for developing and organizing a strategy and procedures for MultiCare deployments and enhancements, Tire program deployments, and any other Vehicle services programs aimed at enhancing the service offerings to TCC customers.
  • Consistently manage and deliver against KPI expectations and budgets.
  • Responsible for development tracking, oversight, and schedule of all vehicle services
  • Benchmark and recommend best practices from Jiffy Lube Institue and other franchisees in order to institute “best-in-class” vehicle service programs
  • Maintain proper business controls across all business aspects (integrity, ethics, operations)
  • Assist in R&D as required for proper equipment usage and management programs throughout all TCC locations
  • Provide communication to management on the progress of all vehicle services initiatives
  • Proactively monitor operations performance of vehicle service programs (tire, multi-care, etc.) and identify opportunities for enhancements
  • Heavy travel expected: 60% or greater at times

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in facilitation management skills
  • Proven track record in the development and implementation of vehicle service programs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced level of knowledge Microsoft Office platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation, instructional and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback in a professional manner to ensure continuous improvement in all vehicle service programs
  • Experience complying with a high level of safety standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong servant Leadership skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to excel in a team-environment
  • Solid organization skills


EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or similar preferred.
  • Five years experience in a company-owned, multi-unit retail environment and/or Tire sales experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Works in an office environment periodically, but most work will be completed in a field, store-level environment. Noise level is usually moderate to loud, depending on the level of activity.
  • Travel approximately 60% (Air travel and vehicle travel)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priority

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands include but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, communicating, seeing, hearing, use of hands, and lifting.
