As a Full-Service Automotive Shop Manager, you will train and supervise store teammates in the performance of the following functions. Also, you will be responsible for servicing our guests' vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. In addition, Full-Service Automotive Shop Manager will perform many/most of these same duties as business needs require (general functions that include but are not limited to): Complete all required computer-based training and other on the job training including General Manager training, enforce attendance, safety, uniform, and various additional company policies, attend, or conduct store safety and policy meetings.


  • Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level
  • Serving all automotive service needs of customers
  • Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team
  • Ensuring high teammate retention
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards
  • Developing customer satisfaction and retention
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of auto service technical experience
  • 1 year of service manager or service writer experience
  • ASE Certifications A1, A5, and C1 (willingness to be certified)
  • Problem-solving customer complaints
  • Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Capacity to lead and coach others
  • Teammate and customer/communication skills
  • Ability to recruit and select technicians and general service teammates successfully according to store requirements
  • Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues
  • Must have valid automotive driver license at all times to test drive customers vehicles


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree or equivalent
