As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our accounting team.

 

As a Senior Accountant at Team Car Care, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support our company's growth. You will be a key member of our finance team, utilizing your experience to oversee financial transactions and contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends, providing recommendations for cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Coordinate and manage financial audits by internal and external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely responses to audit inquiries.
  • Utilize Workday and tools to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to enhance and expand Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities, bringing innovative solutions to increase system functionality and support our growing operational needs.
  • Demonstrate ownership of work and a natural curiosity about the business, with a proven track record of actively participating in process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and support the strategic objectives of the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Several years of accounting experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Accountant.
  • Excellent proficiency in financial software and systems; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Workday experience a plus.
