Description
The State Inspector completes state-regulated inspections on guest vehicles and inform the guest of any areas of non-compliance. This position is also expected to perform Lube Technician and Customer Service Advisor duties, as assigned by the General Manager.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to
- Complete all required certification and other on the job training within the required timeframe.
- Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, which may include all aspects of safety and emissions of the vehicle.
- Gather and input guest and maintenance information into the computer.
- Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, previous services, and report on conditions to the guest.
- Recap guest requested services, with pricing and answer any questions.
- Escort guest to the lounge (using the “No handles” policy) and inform them of the location of coffee/water, restrooms, and magazines.
- Communicate additional services requested to upper bay and gather new items/parts for installation/service.
- Review invoiced items with guest, accept payment for services, informs guest of value-added items and offers invitation of return.
Qualifications
- Pass the state issued background check.
- Attend state inspection training class.
- Obtain inspection certification from the state.
- Organize, clean, and maintain all tools, machines and inspection areas.
- Ensure all tools and machines are in good working order
- You must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Be able to speak effectively with our guests and other Teammates.
- Must be able to stand on your feet on hard surfaces like concrete or metal

This role is a 1099 Contractor and will support the internal communications strategy and helps drive business objectives by managing all aspects of the company’s communications channels. This role will partner with key internal stakeholders to draft and distribute a mix of written, video, and visual stories that inspire and connect associates. Effectiveness of these communications will be measured by tracking established internal metrics, reporting on results, and providing strategic solutions to continuously improve channel effectiveness.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute communications campaigns that build brand ambassadorship, inspire associates and drive engagement.
- Provide support and counsel to key internal stakeholders including drafting and distributing communications (i.e. scripts, stories, presentations, memos, visuals, etc.) for both broad and targeted audiences.
- Maintain internal communications calendar as well as the ongoing tracking and reporting of communications metrics.
- Ensure company intranet and other internal channels are updated weekly with fresh and engaging content.
- Contribute new ideas to build and reinforce company culture.
- Develop engaging visual materials (i.e. presentations, graphics, and content for variety of communications platforms including internal screens, intranet and email).

What You’ll Need
- Bachelors/4 Year Degree
- 4 years relevant work experience, Retail environment, multi-unit, distributed work force experience preferred.
- Proven ability to formulate and execute effective internal communications plans/strategies.
- 2-3 years of experience in formal writing (articles, blogs, speeches, reports, social media posts, visual presentations, etc.).
- Background in managing and distributing communications content.
- Solid understanding of internal audience segmentation and internal communications metrics.
- 2-3 years of experience creating visual/graphic design work.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.

You will be responsible for professionally servicing our guests' vehicles and ensuring quality work while delivering an excellent guest experience. In addition, you would have been trained and certified to perform all lubrication services, core ancillaries, and specific mechanical services such as brakes and tires through internal and external training programs.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
- Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
- Ensure that the service center, specifically their workstation, is clean and presentable
- Must be able to perform complete disc or drum brake service including, but not limited to replacing all braking components as well as performing full brake flushes
- Must be knowledgeable and understand the whole mechanics of the braking system. Also, explain the brake servicing process and answer questions.
- Must be able to diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking system.

Description
The Crew Chief (CC) is a management position within the service center. Specifically, they are 3rd in command. They are responsible for driving positive sales consistently while creating a fantastic guest experience daily. It is an excellent opportunity to be a critical team player in the store's overall success. Working closely with the General Manager (GM), the Crew Chief (CC) is responsible for coaching the teammates, ensuring the process is executed through the IOS process, and driving store sales growth through traffic and core sales mix while achieving operational efficiency. In addition, you would have been trained and certified to perform all lubrication services, core ancillaries, customer service (CSAT), and advanced management through our internal training program.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
- Working directly with the General Manager (GM), ensuring consistent revenue growth through growing guest count and lead measure performance such as core sales mix, MultiCare, and Core Plus. They will also coach and execute excellent customer service while creating an exceptional guest experience.
- Set a positive example as a leader while building team engagement and efficiency. They will be focusing on developing teammates by leveraging our internal training program and providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction.
- Ensure our quality control measures and processes are followed consistently
- Carry out other duties and projects necessary for the position, such as inventory, cash handling processes, guest issues, and concerns, and working with the District Manager (DM) on any critical initiatives
- Assist the General Manager (GM) with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, expense controls, etc.
- Provide clear and detailed direction to the team consistently

- Manages inventory and product order that meets the business need

Qualifications
- One to three years of retail management experience; Professional automotive experience is not required.

The State Inspector completes state-regulated inspections on guest vehicles and inform the guest of any areas of non-compliance. This position is also expected to perform Lube Technician and Customer Service Advisor duties, as assigned by the General Manager.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to
- Complete all required certification and other on the job training within the required timeframe.
- Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, which may include all aspects of safety and emissions of the vehicle.
- Gather and input guest and maintenance information into the computer.
- Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, previous services, and report on conditions to the guest.
- Recap guest requested services, with pricing and answer any questions.
- Escort guest to the lounge (using the “No handles” policy) and inform them of the location of coffee/water, restrooms, and magazines.
- Communicate additional services requested to upper bay and gather new items/parts for installation/service.
- Review invoiced items with guest, accept payment for services, informs guest of value-added items and offers invitation of return.
Qualifications
- Pass the state issued background check.
- Attend state inspection training class.
- Obtain inspection certification from the state.
- Organize, clean, and maintain all tools, machines and inspection areas.

The State Inspector completes state-regulated inspections on guest vehicles and inform the guest of any areas of non-compliance. This position is also expected to perform Lube Technician and Customer Service Advisor duties, as assigned by the General Manager.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to
- Complete all required certification and other on the job training within the required timeframe.
- Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, which may include all aspects of safety and emissions of the vehicle.
- Gather and input guest and maintenance information into the computer.
- Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, previous services, and report on conditions to the guest.
- Recap guest requested services, with pricing and answer any questions.
- Escort guest to the lounge (using the “No handles” policy) and inform them of the location of coffee/water, restrooms, and magazines.
